Five context switches a day, on purpose. Notes from an engineer praying through deadlines.

I pray five times a day. I don't do it because it makes me a better engineer - I do it because I'm a Muslim. But living inside that rhythm has taught me things about focus that no productivity stack ever did.

The IDE will not give you a stop signal. The market will not. Your team will not. You need an external clock, and prayer is the most reliable one I've found.
